Item 8.01. Other Events.
On April 18, 2013, National Health Investors, Inc. issued a press release announcing a $26.3 million acquisition of two skilled nursing facilities, located in Canton and Corinth, Texas. The new lease agreement with indirect affiliates of Fundamental is for a ten-year initial term, with renewal options, at an annual lease rate of 9%, plus annual fixed escalators, resulting in annual income of $2.36 million.
