(e) The Board of Directors of MRV Communications, Inc. (the “Company”) approved a special bonus of $31,500 for Chris King, the Company’s chief financial officer, among others, in recognition of his contribution to the Company becoming current in its reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”). On November 30, 2009, the Company filed its Quarterly Reports on Form 10-Q for the quarters ended March 31, June 30 and September 30, 2009, bringing the Company current in its SEC reporting requirements after completion of the recent restatement of its financial statements.
