Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

     This Current Report on Form 8-K is filed on behalf of HCC Insurance Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”) to provide supplemental financial schedules relating to the three months ended March 31, June 30, and September 30, 2010 and 2009; the three months and year ended December 31, 2009; and the nine months ended September 30, 2010. The supplemental financial schedules relate to changes made in the Company’s segment reporting structure, which were completed in the third quarter of 2010. A press release setting forth the supplemental financial schedules is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
