NPS Pharmaceuticals, Inc. announced today that it will report its third quarter financial results and Nycomed’s decision whether to proceed with ex-U.S. development and commercialization of GATTEX™ (teduglutide) on Thursday, November 1, 2007. The announcement will be followed by a conference call and webcast at 5:00 p.m. Details about the conference call on the third quarter results are provided in the press release attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1
