| | On November 29, 2006 Minerals Technologies Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing that Mr. John A. Sorel, CFO, will assume responsibility for managing the Company's Synsil® Products business. Synsil Products Inc., which produces a family of composite minerals for the glass industry, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. A copy of the press release is included as Exhibit 99 and is incorporated into this Item 8.01 by reference. |
