QUARTER FINANCIAL AND OPERATIONAL RESULTS

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA, APRIL 13, 2007 – Chesapeake Energy Corporation (NYSE:CHK) has scheduled its 2007 first quarter financial and operational results release to be issued after the close of trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday,
May 3, 2007.
