On October 7, 2009, Chesapeake Energy Corporation issued a press release announcing that it will host its 2009 Investor and Analyst Meeting on Wednesday, October 14 in New York, NY. The press release also contained details for accessing a webcast of this meeting. A copy of the press release is filed herewith as Exhibit 99.1.
