Segment Information | SEGMENT INFORMATION The Company primarily operates as a global direct-selling nutrition, personal health and wellness company that develops and manufactures high quality, science-based nutritional, and personal care products. The Company’s operating segments are identified according to how business activities are managed and evaluated by the chief operating decision maker (“CODM”), our CEO. The CODM manages the business, allocates resources, makes operating decisions, and evaluates performance for a geographic region or market based on net sales. The Company aggregates its direct-selling operating segments (“Direct-selling”) into one reportable segment, as management believes that the Company’s Direct-selling segments exhibit similar long-term financial performance and have similar economic characteristics. The CODM does not evaluate operating segments using asset information, accordingly, the Company does not report asset information by segment. The Company has operating segments, resulting from acquisitions, that are not material to the Company’s net sales. These operating segments are included as a component of “All other” and are included for purposes of reconciliation of net sales to the Company’s Condensed Consolidated Statements of Comprehensive Income.
