1. The price reported in Column 4 is a weighted average price. These shares were sold in multiple transactions at prices ranging from $397.91 to $398.39 per share. The Reporting Person undertakes to provide to The Sherwin-Williams Company, any security holder of The Sherwin-Williams Company, or the staff of the Securities and Exchange Commission, upon request, full information regarding the number of shares sold at each separate price within the range set forth in this footnote.

2. Represents a gift made by the Reporting Person to a charitable donor advised fund.

3. Represents the number of shares of common stock attributable to the Reporting Person's participation in The Sherwin-Williams Company 401(k) Plan per the trustee's 9/30/2024 statement.

4. These options were granted on July 17, 2018 and vested in three substantially equal installments on each of the first three anniversaries of the date of grant, subject to vesting conditions.
