Item 8.01. Other Events.
On January 14, 2009 Vornado Realty Trust (the “Company”) issued a press release with respect to the declaration by its Board of Trustees of a dividend on the Company’s common shares of beneficial interest that permits shareholders to elect between cash and common shares. A copy of that press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated into this Item 8.01 by reference.
