RUSSEL METALS ADDED TO S&P/TSX COMPOSITE INDEX
TORONTO, CANADA -- June 16, 2004 -- Russel Metals Inc. announced today that it has been added to the S&P/TSX Composite Index, the S&P/TSX SmallCap Index and the S&P/TSX Capped Industrials Index, effective after markets close on Friday, June 18, 2004.
The S&P/TSX Composite Index is used by the financial community as a broad indicator of market activity for the largest companies on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
