The information in this Current Report is being furnished and shall not be deemed “filed” for the purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended.
On September 13, 2007, Key Technology, Inc., the registrant, announced that it expects to report consolidated net sales that will exceed $100 million for its 2007 fiscal year ending on September 30, 2007. Achieving this revenue milestone is subject to change, and final results will be contained in Key Technology's regular earnings release, scheduled for November 15, 2007. The Company also disclosed that it plans a daily employee "sales countdown" tracking the Company's sales growth during the interim period approaching this important historical benchmark.
