On February 15, 2005, Nuvelo, Inc. issued a press release regarding Nuvelo’s financial result for its fourth fiscal quarter ended December 31, 2004 and a related data sheet. A copy of Nuvelo’s press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
