Explanation of Responses:

1. Dr. Chaplin was awarded options to purchase shares of OXiGENE, Inc. common stock, $0.01 par value per share (the "Stock Options"), pursuant to the OXiGENE, Inc. 2015 Equity Incentive Plan in connection with his service as Chief Scientific Officer.

2. 25% of the Stock Options will vest on the first anniversary of the date of grant, and the remainder will vest in 36 substantially equal monthly installments beginning one year and one month after the grant date.
