Item 5. Other Events.
Atchison Casting Corporation announced that its common stock had been delisted
from the New York Stock Exchange effective following the close of the trading
markets on June 25, 2002. The Company also announced that its common stock
became eligible for quotation on the OTC Bulletin Board under the ticker symbol
"AHNC" on June 26, 2002. A copy of the Press Release is attached as Exhibit 99.1
hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
