5.1  On February 6, 2004 Steinway Musical Instruments, Inc. had its corporate credit outlook revised from ‘stable’ to ‘negative’ by  Standard and Poor’s Ratings Services.  At the same time, the company’s corporate credit rating of ‘BB-’ and the company’s senior unsecured debt rating of ‘B+’ were affirmed.
