Conn-Selmer’s Eastlake Union Ratifies Contract
WALTHAM, MA - February 19, 2008 - Conn-Selmer, Inc., a subsidiary of Steinway Musical Instruments, Inc. (NYSE: LVB), announced today that employees at its facility in Eastlake, Ohio have approved a new three-year contract.
John Stoner, President of Conn-Selmer, commented, “We are pleased that we were able to reach an agreement with our Eastlake employees without any disruption to production. We can now focus our attention on implementing strategies to remain competitive in the band instrument marketplace.”
