Item 8.01 Other Events.
On December 19, 2014, Cubist Pharmaceuticals, Inc. issued a press release announcing that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved ZERBAXA™ (ceftolozane/tazobactam) for the treatment of adults with complicated urinary tract infections and complicated intra-abdominal infections caused by designated susceptible Gram-negative bacteria. A copy of the press release announcing this event has been filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
