In accordance with articles 9 and 10, paragraph two, under the Securities Market Law No. 18,045, and as established under General Norm No. 30 of the Financial Market Commission (FMC), I, duly authorized, hereby inform you in this Significant Event and in relation with the public tender offer for the acquisition of shares that Enel SpA has launched for up to 7,608,631,104 shares issued by Enel Américas S.A. (including shares represented by American Depositary Shares or "ADS") equivalent to 10% of its current share capital (the "Offer"), that on this date and, as established by article 207 letter c) of Law 18.045, the Company has received individual statements from the Company´s Directors, Mr. Francisco de Borja Acha Besga (Chairman), Enrico Viale, Hernán Somerville Senn, José Antonio Vargas Lleras, Patricio Gómez Sabaini and Domingo Cruzat Amunátegui.
Furthermore, in compliance with Article 207 letter c), I hereby inform you that a copy of the abovementioned statements together with the prospectus and other documents related to the Offer have been made available to the public and to the shareholders on the Company´s website www.enelamericas.com.
