On April 12, 2011, West Marine, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company will host a webcast and conference call to review its condensed consolidated financial results for the 13-week period (first quarter) ended April 2, 2011. The call will be broadcast live on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. The Company also announced that, effective as of the first quarter of 2011, the Company will no longer report revenues in a separate press release. A copy of this press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
