Plantronics Declares Quarterly Dividend

Santa Cruz, CA - May 2, 2006 - Plantronics, Inc., (NYSE: PLT) today announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.05 per share. The dividend is payable on June 9, 2006 to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 19, 2006.

 “We are pleased to announce our eighth consecutive dividend payment to our shareholders,” said Ken Kannappan, President and Chief Executive Officer.
