Item 8.01Other Events
On October 3, 2013, Southwest Bancorp, Inc. issued a press release announcing that the merger of its wholly-owned subsidiary Bank of Kansas with and into its other wholly-owned subsidiary, Stillwater National Bank and Trust Company, has been approved, the merger will be made effective as of the close of business November 15, 2013, and the consolidated bank will be renamed and will do business in all markets under the new name Bank SNB. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
