On January 30, 2014 Elecsys Corporation (the “Company”) announced that George Semb, 70, was appointed to fill an additional position created on the Company’s Board of Directors effective January 24, 2014. He will be subject to election by the stockholders of the Company at the Company’s next annual meeting. It is anticipated that Mr. Semb will serve on the Company’s audit, nominating and compensation committees. Mr. Semb is independent as determined by the independence requirements of the NASDAQ Stock Market.
