Item 5.02 (b) Departure of Director
On November 17, 2021, Vanessa L. Allen Sutherland, a director of Eastman Chemical Company (the “Company”) since January 2021, notified the Board of Directors of her resignation due to her change in employment and the responsibilities and requirements of her new position. Ms. Allen Sutherland’s resignation was not because of any disagreement with the Company on any matter related to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
