KeyCorp confirms that David Verhotz, formerly Senior Vice President of KeyBank National Association’s (“KBNA”) Global Treasury Management business, is being investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, at KeyCorp’s referral, for possible fraudulent activity involving KBNA. KeyCorp is cooperating fully with the FBI in its investigation and is also engaged in its own continuing investigation of this matter.
Due to the nature of law enforcement matters, KeyCorp does not expect to be issuing updated information about the status of the former employee and the related investigations.
