Item 8.01 Other Events
On May 14, 2008, the Board of Directors of Beazer Homes USA, Inc. (the “Company”) set August 5, 2008 as the date for the Company’s next annual meeting of stockholders (the “Stockholder Meeting”). The Company set June 16, 2008 as the record date for determining those shareholders entitled to vote at the Stockholder Meeting.
Stockholder proposals that are intended to be included in the Company’s proxy statement relating to the Stockholder Meeting, as well as other stockholder proposals for items of business to be brought before the Stockholder Meeting that are not to be included in the Company’s proxy statement, must be received by the Company no later than May 25, 2008, the date set by the Company in accordance with the Company’s bylaws.
