On July 30, 2010, Calpine Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its financial and operating results for the quarter ended June 30, 2010. A copy of the press release is being furnished as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated by reference herein.
As set forth in the press release, the Company will host a conference call to discuss its financial and operating results for the second quarter of 2010 on Friday, July 30, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. ET / 9:00 a.m. CT. A listen-only webcast of the call may be accessed through the Company’s website at www.calpine.com, or by dialing 888-857-6930 at least 10 minutes prior to the beginning of the call.
