On August 22, 2007, Equity Inns, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it had signed an agreement to acquire a portfolio of eight hotels, with a total of 742-rooms, from InterMountain Management, LLC (“InterMountain”) for approximately $90.5 million.
