(b) Steven Rossi, Chief Operating Officer of MediaNews Group, will assume the position of President and CEO of the Company’s California Newspapers Partnership, effective immediately, replacing George Riggs, who retired at the end of January. The position of Chief Operating Officer has been eliminated.
