On August 1, 2012, American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing, among other things, the Company's revised earnings guidance for the second quarter ended July 28, 2012.  A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.  Additionally, Management announced sales for the second quarter ended July 28, 2012 in the press release.
