On August 18, 2004, CKE Restaurants, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the Company’s same-store sales for the four week period ending August 9, 2004 and approximate consolidated revenues for its company-operated restaurants for the second fiscal quarter ended August 9, 2004.
