HEARTLAND FINANCIAL USA, INC DECLARES CASH DIVIDEND

DUBUQUE, Iowa, July 22, 2011 - Heartland Financial USA, Inc. (NASDAQ: HTLF),announced that its board of directors has approved a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.10 per share on the company's common stock, payable on September 9, 2011 to stockholders of record at the close of business on August 26, 2011. At June 30, 2011, there were 16,442,437 common shares outstanding listed on the NASDAQ Market under the symbol HTLF.
