Item 8.01. Other Events.
Investment Technology Group, Inc. (“ITG”) is saddened to report that Mr. Brian J. Steck, a member of ITG’s Board of Directors (the “Board”), passed away on November 6, 2009. Mr. Steck served on ITG’s Board since September 2004 and was a member of the Compensation Committee and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee of the Board. ITG’s Board is now comprised of six members.
