Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On September 8, 2017, Steven D. Davis informed Sempra Energy that he will retire as the Corporate Group President - Utilities effective March 1, 2018 at the age of 62. Mr. Davis also informed Southern California Gas Company and San Diego Gas & Electric Company, both indirect subsidiaries of Sempra Energy, that he will retire as a Director and non-executive Chairman of the boards of each of Southern California Gas Company and San Diego Gas & Electric Company effective March 1, 2018.
