CONSOLIDATED GRAPHICS ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION
OF AMERICAN LITHOGRAPHERS
HOUSTON, TEXAS — February 7, 2002 — Consolidated Graphics, Inc. (NYSE:CGX) announced today that it has completed its acquisition of the American Lithographers, Inc. division of Smurfit Packaging Corporation, a subsidiary of Jefferson Smurfit Group, plc. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Joe R. Davis, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Consolidated Graphics, commented, “American Lithographers continues our acquisition strategy and expands our west-coast presence with the addition of one of California’s top web and sheet-fed printers with facilities in both Hayward and Sacramento.”
