Paso Robles, CA - March 5, 2007 — Heritage Oaks Bancorp (NASDAQ: HEOP), parent company of Heritage Oaks Bank, announced Lawrence P. Ward, President and CEO of Heritage Oaks, will present at the Inland Empire Banking Panel during the Sandler O’Neill & Partners West Coast Financial Services Conference on March 6, 2007, at 7:45 a.m. PST. Attached as exhibit 99.1 is a slide presentation that will be used by Mr. Ward at the conference.
