On May 5, 2011, Republic Bancorp, Inc. issued a press release announcing Republic Bank & Trust Company’s receipt from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation of an Amended Notice of Charges for an Order to Cease and Desist; Notice of Assessment of Civil Money Penalties, Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law; Order to Pay; and Notice of Hearing (the “Amended Notice”) related to its Tax Refund Solutions business segment.
