On July 31, 2007, PPL Corporation (“PPL”) issued a press release announcing the assignment of Bryce L. Shriver, President of PPL Generation, LLC, to direct the development of a comprehensive strategy for PPL’s nuclear power operations. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
