Significant Accounting Policies [Text Block] | ( 1 The following is a summary of the more significant accounting policies of Cyclo Therapeutics, Inc . (a) ORGANIZATION AND OPERATIONS––The Company was incorporated in August 1990 July 1992. 2000, September 2019 November 6, 2020, We are a clinical stage biotechnology company that develops cyclodextrin-based products for the treatment of disease. We have filed a Type II Drug Master File with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) in 2014 2015, 2016, 14 two 18 September 2016, January 2017 September 2017. (c) CASH AND CASH EQUIVALENTS––Cash and cash equivalents consist of cash and any highly liquid investments with an original purchased maturity of three (d) ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE––Accounts receivable are unsecured and non-interest bearing and stated at the amount we expect to collect from outstanding balances. (g) MORTGAGE NOTE RECEIVABLE––The mortgage note receivable is stated at amortized value, which is the amount we expect to collect. (h) FURNITURE AND EQUIPMENT––Furniture and equipment are recorded at cost, less accumulated depreciation.
