Royal Bancshares of Pennsylvania, Inc. (“Royal”) announced that it has completed the repurchase of all of the remaining shares of the Company’s Fixed Rate Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock, Series A outstanding. Royal initially issued the Series A preferred stock to the United States Department of the Treasury in February 2009 as part of the Treasury’s TARP program. A copy of Royal’s press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
