Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers.
On April 18, 2006, the shareholders of Erie Indemnity Company elected as directors the fourteen nominees recommended by the nominating committee at the annual meeting. Also, at the subsequent Board meeting, the Board re-elected the current executive management team of the Erie Insurance Group. The individuals elected are detailed in the press release attached as Exhibit 99.1.
