Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
Apartment Investment and Management Company ("Aimco") reports that during September 2009 Aimco repaid $90 million of term debt, leaving a $260 million balance, which Aimco expects to repay with property sale proceeds prior to maturity in first quarter 2011. Aimco provides this information in anticipation of investor and analyst meetings to be held at various times during the next two weeks, including a panel presentation at the Bank of America Merrill Lynch 2009 Global Real Estate Conference on October 1, 2009.
