Shabbir Bambot, Ph.D., 41, was named Vice President for Research and Development for SpectRx, Inc. Dr. Bambot joined the company in February 1997 and has served as a Senior Scientist, Assistant Director of New Product Development and Director of New Product Development. He received his Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Bambot receives a yearly salary of $143,000 plus usual and customary company benefits.
