Item 8.01   Other Events.

On February 27, 2025, BioCardia, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the completion of source data verification and freezing of primary outcomes data in the double-blind randomized placebo-controlled Phase 3 CardiAMP HF study of its autologous minimally invasive cell therapy for the treatment of ischemic heart failure of reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF).

A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
