WESCAST TO SUPPLY MANIFOLDS FOR
FUTURE CHRYSLER GROUP ENGINES

BRANTFORD, Ontario, January 15, 2003 -Wescast Industries Inc. announced today it has been chosen by the Chrysler Group to supply cast and machined iron exhaust manifolds for the 2.7L and 3.5L engine programs.
Wescast has been supplying the Chrysler Group with exhaust manifold castings for this program for the past several years. Beginning in 2003, Wescast will provide a fully machined manifold for various Chrysler and Dodge vehicles.
