REVENUES OF APPROXIMATELY $34 MILLION
First quarter revenues expected to increase approximately 15 percent over prior year quarter

ALPHARETTA, GA, April 12, 2005 – Microtek Medical Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: MTMD) announced today that it expects to report net revenues for the quarter ended March 31, 2005 of approximately $34 million. The anticipated net revenues for the first quarter of 2005 represent an increase of approximately $4.5 million, or 15 percent, over the first quarter of 2004.
The Company has not yet completed its accounting for the first quarter of 2005. The Company’s expectations about what it will report for revenues for the first quarter of 2005 are tentative pending the completion of such accounting.
