Explanation of Responses:

1. Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) convert into shares of EAF common stock on a one-for-one basis.

2. In accordance with the terms of the GrafTech International Ltd Omnibus Equity Incentive Plan, the Fair Market Value is the closing price as of April 30, 2021.

3. On May 1, 2019, the reporting person was granted 50,000 RSUs, which also accrue additional RSUs pursuant to dividend equivalent rights based upon the closing price of EAF stock as of the dividend payment date. The RSUs vest in five equal installments beginning on May 1, 2020.
