EXPLANATORY NOTE
The purpose of this Amendment No. 1 to the annual report on Form 18-K (the “Annual Report”) of the Republic of South Africa (the “Republic”) for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2015 is to amend and supplement Exhibit 99.C, Exhibit 99.D and Exhibit 99.E of the Annual Report.
