ITEM 12. RESULTS OF OPERATIONS AND FINANCIAL CONDITIONS
Today, August 14, 2003, DTE Energy Company (“DTE Energy”) issued a Press Release in which it announced that its Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2003, which will be filed today, will report an additional $16 million negative earnings impact not reflected in the unaudited results of a $23 million loss that was previously announced on July 28, 2003.
