Share dealing by a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility
December 30, 2011 – Shire plc (LSE: SHP, NASDAQ: SHPGY), the global specialty biopharmaceutical company was notified on December 29, 2011, that Sylvie Gregoire had exercised, on the same day, SAR Awards granted under the Shire Portfolio Share Plan over Shire American Depository Shares (“ADSs”). The resulting ADSs were sold on the NASDAQ. One ADS is equal to three Shire ordinary shares.
